Get Started In FPV Drones Under $500 USD in 2019 // From A to Z

this is the premium setup this is not a piece of setup this will last you today's video I'm going to be showing you how to get started into fpv drones a premium setup with every single thing you need for under five hundred dollars or it can be under a thousand dollars depending on what goggles you want other than the goggles everything here is a premium setup so let's get into this we're gonna cover batteries controller receiver drone even the charges themselves and everything here has been tested for a very long time and that I even still use till this day which is why I'm recommending with putting my reputation on the line because I am using this stuff constantly alright so let's start with the drone here there's a couple things to take note of here now we're gonna be talking about a prebuilt drone and to be exact it's this one here and it's linked down below this is by far one of my favorite drones for one of the greatest prices you probably ever purchased not only that the parts are available and the parts don't cost as much as anything else which is really great and this has survived many crashes many many stuff as you can tell here I even cut the motor wires and I fixed them all up and I don't usually do this because I have ton of quads but I love how this thing flies so much that I'm just constantly fixing it so this thing is efficient which means you get a really long flight time if you take it easy on 1,800 milliamp you can get anywhere between seven and ten minutes if you want to ruin the battery but it can't fly ten minutes so seven to eight minutes you can get for cruising speed is absolutely there efficiencies there it's pretty quiet which is really great and again the parts are available now there's two versions of this there's a 6s and a4 s I'm currently flying the 4s but I'll have both of them linked down below the forest is gonna be cheaper because it just comes down to what type of batteries you're gonna purchase so this is a 4 s1 and again I have them both linked down below I highly recommend you stick to the 4s much better much cheaper and you're just gonna have the same experience basically it's even going to be lighter so for a drone this is it now the next thing that comes down the line is it doesn't come with a receiver which means you cannot really control it just yet so you'll need a controller and a receiver however what's really nice when you purchase this it makes it super simple they have a connector that would be sticking out and then you just buy this receiver plug it in and then you hold the bind button thingy here and you'll get to know that later on but all you got to do is just hold this button and it'll connect to the controller so this one will be linked down below also it doesn't come with it's only 21 bucks again it's linked down below and it's a must because that's what will control your quadcopter so now we've covered the drone in the receiver so let's go down to the controller now this is by far one of the best budget Premium controller you can possibly purchase it has all of the features you want it's future proof and it can take the modules which you'll get to know later on if you don't know what those are so this is an absolutely amazing piece of technology that was just released for the budget market and it's been my favorite now you might say well why don't I just go get a horse the horse is like 500 bucks I have the horse I have the QX 7 I have every single one in the market but all I'm using is this now and I've been using it for the past I think month now and it's just been flawless and I'd highly recommend it really cheap really great and you get proper gimble's in yeah this is it's gonna be future proof for it it'll take a lot of modules and you can even play with the simulator with a micro USB at SD card so it can talk and stuff so it's really great it has all the features and I'm using it myself because of the form factor and it just has everything I need range is really great on this as well so and again this one is linked down below now let's talk about batteries no batteries are very very important it's very hard to know which are good batteries and which are bad batteries even for us sometimes unless we use them now the best by far for the best performing batteries for $20 that I even use usually I don't use mediocre batteries are these China hobby line batteries there's a 4s version and here's the 6s Rijal the 6s is $34 the 4s is $24 so you can even pick up two of these and still be under 500 bucks here and again all the prices in the links are down below so you can pick up a couple of these and start flying and you're gonna get the full performance of your quadcopter with these which is really really great and as you can tell I'm using them and I've beaten them to death and they're still working perfect and they're still holding their charge and the cells are balanced which is a huge thing to look for so these are really great again they're linked down below now we're gonna leave goggles for last because that dictates the final price of everything without the goggles with two batteries you're talking about like maybe 400 bucks even with the charger so this charge right here is a touchscreen charger now okay whatever it doesn't really matter that it's a touchscreen but what's really great about it is there's a couple features here that are really really important and something to take note of before purchasing a charger some chargers only take DC which means you cannot plug it into the wall and start charging you have to get some sort of a power supply in order to do it however so you got to keep an eye on that for example this one here takes both AC which means you can connect it directly to the wall and you could even do charging on-the-go so if you bought a big battery you can plug it here and start charging all the other batteries so it's even portable and it charges two at the same time and it charges many different types of batteries especially every single battery drone you'll ever purchase this will go ahead and charge it perfect so I've been using this it's really great and it's $64 which is insane and it's been tested and proven and I just finished charging with it right now and I brought it here to show it to you guys so this has been used and it is being used all of the things here have been used for way longer than a month now we're gonna come down to the goggles the goggles you have you have a lot of options in the market but in the term in terms of box goggles this is by far the best one which is the Toby richer of the Eva 800 d now what's really great about this if you've purchased this it's only seventy dollars it has inbuilt battery it has diverse it even has SD card for recording and what's really cool about this is the faceplate would be here that goes to your face and if you're done with it you can pop that faceplate like I have here and use it as a screen if someone comes over and wants to watch it could just show him and it even has a tripod mount so I still take this with me every time I go fly if someone comes over he can just hold this and start watching which is really great and it's only 70 bucks now if you didn't want something cheap then your next step up would be a sky zone sky o to C or 2x now what does this D stand for what does the X stand for the X means it's with a camera which you don't need and the C means without a camera so you can get either one just get the cheaper one they're both exactly identical it's just a camera so this is a really great one unfortunately the only thing that sucks with this is the DVR recording which is the SD card recording on this that's the only thing that sucks with this other than that this is an absolute beautiful piece of technology this is the best budget goggle you can possibly purchase not the ione ways this one next is the ultimate goggle currently in the market in 2019 right now I think we are in quarter two or three I don't remember I think we're in quarter two this is by far the best one it's called the fat shark HD OS but you'll have to buy some sort of a module here and yeah but even with this two batteries and everything else I showed you you're still under a thousand dollars and this is what you know gets a lot of people because this is $500 by itself this costs as much as everything else but is it worth it well it comes back to you for me it's worth it this is the only thing I use here actually I just use these two and it's totally worth it for in my opinion but it comes back to you here and you could decide whatever you want I have everything linked down below so this is the easiest cheapest best setup you can possibly find on the planet currently in 2019 what are we Nagas August tilt August 2019 right now so this is it right here it's pretty crazy I mean yesterday I was actually trying to do research see how much does it really cost to get a premium set this is a premium set up this is not a piece of setup this will last you everything here will last you a while from the battery to the goggles to the charger to the controller everything this is what I use so that's what I'm telling you I've tried every single thing in the market here I've gotten just about everything like 80% of the products in the market I've tested and used and this is what I'm sticking to it's their good stuff that's that's all I got to say this is the best advice you'll probably get online and the most conclusive also if you're new here make sure you subscribe and hit the notification because I am releasing a bunch of new beginner content now on the channel since I'm seeing a lot of new people coming in and I really want to get you guys covered up to date especially now in 2019 since our hobby changes quite dramatically from every three to four months it changes dramatically but this will last you a really really long time as long as you don't break it I'll see you the next one peace out

You may shy away from 5". The tinyhawk-toothpick-2.5"/3" classes may have lower maintenance costs (props, batts, repairs) and do not need large space to operate. Much friendlier to fly close at home for more stick time.
The smaller packs do not drain your car batterie as much too and multiple small balance lead chargers are fool proof.

Ordered a Hyperglide 5" frame to reduce shelved parts myself but getting modular with 2s550mA packs for Tinyhawks,2,5" and 2x2s or 3x2s 3"

What are your thoughts on the wizard x220hv? I just got one and it flys great, its alot cheaper than the drone your recommending so just wanted to know why your suggesting such an expensive quad for somebody's first quad that they are bound to crash?

Hello, I subscribed recently to your interesting channel. For future video considerations: I am looking at building a drone so to view my 135 acres forest and field. I want one to last and easy to operates with camera. It should stay up in the air more than 8-10 minutes.
I have been advice to purchase a built drone because with diy drones you can never get the proper fitting between electronics modules and make it fly correctly. However they are too expensive so I would rather learn how it works and being able to repair them as it appears it requires regular repairs. For drone googles, I wear glasses, is there another option?
May be you already have a video that I have not seen.

Man, I wish I had this video before I wasted $1,000 on components such as Racerstar motors and individual ESCs and FlySky i6X and SPF3 flight controllers.
At least you have done someone else a favour. But I seriously needed this a long time ago. Loving the content recently. What's the upload schedule for losing my mind etc?

I don't know about the lighter than 6s-part, tho 😉 Have you seen the difference beetween a CNHL 4s 1500mah and a CNHL 6s 1000mah in weight? But yeah, a bundle sale from CNHL on the 4s 1500mah is way cheaper ^_^
