Hermes 450 UAVs and Hermes 900 in Philippine Air Force signs

MaxDefense has several updates about the Philippines Unmanned Air Force Project (UAS), which is a Horizon Phase 2 Priority Project under the Revised AFP Modernization Program.

It should be noted that this project was awarded to the Elbit Israel System to supply and deliver the durable power medium (MALE) Hermes 450 and the durable medium to MAF.

Elbit Hermes The first 450 UAVs from the Philippine Air Force, can be taken in Israel.

Apparently, a source said that there was a coffin in Israel waiting for the Philippine government to release funds before being sent.

It is also said that this unit is a freebie unit that will be used by PAF to train in UAV operations in the Philippines while the rest of Hermes 450 and Hermes 900 are being prepared for shipping between now and the end of 2020.

MaxDefense was told that 2 UAVs will arrive as the first batch of Hermes 450. The rest will arrive later, most likely before the end of 2019.

Previously, MaxDefense posted photos of the same UAV without the PAF mark, and was taken in Israel by its source.
